The New Mexico Sunshine Portal was created pursuant to the Sunshine Portal Transparency Act, NMSA 10-16D-1 et. seq, to provide public access to state government budgets, expenditures, revenue and specific public school district information, and to make such information accessible on one central website. The Sunshine Portal Transparency Act was enacted by the Fiftieth Legislature, First Session and signed into law by Governor Susana Martinez on March 30, 2011. The web site will be updated monthly, the currency of the data will be published on each information panel.
